Communication and Contacts

  1. How do you all commute? - let us know if you drive or get the train - If you drive we can advise you on some great parking locations around the office area.
  1. What are your training hours and lunch breaks? - First day you will start at 10 and finish at 7? After your first day you will then be on training hours where you will be in at 9 - 6 everyday. You will get a 1 hour lunch break at 1 o clock, however if you smoke you will need to take that out of your lunch break. 5 minutes to go for a smoke, means 55 minutes on lunch. Easy. When you’re on the phones you will start the shift patterns which are as followed:
  • Early Shift: 8:30 - 16:50 - Break at 12:45
  • Middle Shift: 10:00 - 18:20 - Break at 14:00
  • Late Shift: 12:40 - 21:00 - Break at 15:40
  • Saturday: 9:00 - 17:00 - staggered breaks
  • Sunday: 10:00 - 17:00 - staggered breaks
  1. Our tolerance around lateness! – We expect everyone to be logged in and on the phone by the start of your shift or you are considered late! Be early to shift if you want to make a tea/coffee, do not come in on shift time and start making this as you should already be on the phone. We understand that traffic in Guildford can be hectic and the trains can cancel or strike at any moment. However, we want people to be organised, if you know they may be traffic, leave earlier or get the earlier train!
  1. Not local to the area? We got you - Plenty of food shops to get lunch, best routes in to Guildford.
